We recently completed our second skills and assessment camp with Endurocad. Their vision is to become the most proficient endurance academy in Africa. To develop successful athletes holistically and getting South Africa ready for RIO and BEYOND. The purpose of the camp is to identify athletes to include into their satellite programme and teach them some new skills. The 20 athletes came to our lab for a series of physiological assessments including anthropometry, functional movement screening, running economy, power assessment and maximal aerobic capacity test.

18 Athletes attended an Endurocad training camp over the weekend in Stellenbosch.  Louise, Lara, Braam, Schalk and Pieter took them through their paces during 2 days’ testing in the Sport Physiology Laboratory. Enduracad is the brainchild of Elana Meyer and aims to develop young athletes into stars of the future.
