Dear Clients
Please note that the lab will be closing 15 December 2016 and reopen on 9 January 2017.
We wish you a happy festive season and all the best with your training.
The Sport Physiology Lab recently became two CompuTrainers richer. The RaceMate Computrainer is the Golden Standard for indoor cycling training. The Computrainers enables to do testing on your own bike. The software has varies routes to select and we can even create a profile for you to train on. CompuTrainer is able to replicate true road-feel, with the advanced software it has the unique ability to mirror the natural torque fluctuations a rider experiences each time they pedal. Even wind Drag Factor is adjustable in order to ensure that you feel like you’re riding outdoor

We would like to congratulate some of our regular clients that have been selected to represent South Africa at the coming Paralympics in Rio
Congratulations to:
Athletics:
Ilse Hayes, Anruné Liebenberg, Dyan Buis, Charl du Toit, Arnu Fourie and Reinhardt Hamman
Cycling:
Roxy Burns
Thank you for making us part of your journey

We recently completed our second skills and assessment camp with Endurocad. Their vision is to become the most proficient endurance academy in Africa. To develop successful athletes holistically and getting South Africa ready for RIO and BEYOND. The purpose of the camp is to identify athletes to include into their satellite programme and teach them some new skills. The 20 athletes came to our lab for a series of physiological assessments including anthropometry, functional movement screening, running economy, power assessment and maximal aerobic capacity test.
